We’re committed to providing you with a seamless car rental experience. By renting a vehicle from Stuart Car Rental, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Eligibility: The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years. Renters are required to present a valid driver’s license and a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) at the time of rental.
2. Payment and Fees: The rental fee is subject to a local tax of 9%. We also offer optional insurance coverage at an additional cost. Any damages to the vehicle or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges. A deposit is required at the time of booking, refundable upon return of the vehicle in its original condition.
3. Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel. A refueling fee will be charged if the vehicle is returned without a full tank.
4. Vehicle Condition and Inspection: A thorough inspection of the vehicle is conducted before and after each rental period. Renters will be provided with a checklist to document any pre-existing damages. Any new damages or issues found during the post-rental inspection may result in additional charges.
5. Traffic Violations: Renters are responsible for any traffic violations, including fines and associated administrative fees, incurred during the rental period.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy: A full refund will be provided for cancellations made 48 hours prior to the rental start time. No-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will incur a fee equivalent to 2 day’s rental charge.
